To load BB's into the M249, make sure that the side panel is installed onto the side of the box magazine. Open the loading door on the top of the magazine and pour BB's into the magazine until full, shaking regularly to allow BB's to settle.
DO NOT load BB's in through the side panel of the magazine unless you are familiar with how to do so!! Loading BB's incorrectly can cause the magazine to jam, and may cause permanent damage. Magazines damaged in this manner are not eligible for return or replacement.
